Nursing Education - Admissions & Application
Admission Qualifications
- B.S. degree with a nursing major from an accredited program*
- For R.N.s with a Bachelor’s in a field other than nursing, the R.N. to M.S. Program is available.
- Licensure as a registered professional nurse within the United States, U.S. territories or Canada
- Equivalent of one-year full-time employment as a professional registered nurse
- Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a scale of 4.00
- Successful completion (B minus or higher) of a statistics course
- Demonstrated proficiency in written communication
*International student applications evaluated on an individual basis

- Application essay Instructions and submission available through the online application.
- One-page professional resume highlighting your professional experience
- Two recommendations - Evidence of academic and professional qualifications from a supervisor and a previous educator
- Official TOEFL or IELTS Score (if required) - international students
- Request Official Transcripts from every college or university you attended. Send to Roberts Wesleyan University AGE Admissions:

Rochester, NY 14624 - Complete FAFSA application - Submit financial aid forms to the office of Financial Aid (if applicable).
- Admissions Decision. Your application will be reviewed and an email/letter regarding your admission status will be sent via email/USPS mail. If accepted into the program, you will receive a letter stating this along with form to make a deposit to hold your spot in the program. NOTE: You must submit the form with your non-refundable $350 deposit to the Graduate Nursing Office to secure your position in the program.
