Through Almabase, alumni can network with each other, register for events, and provide opportunities for students, including career conversations, connections for job shadowing, mentoring, or informational interviews!
What do you recommend for employment search and professional development?
- Use our resources in Handshake/Career Center to prepare your Resume and Cover Letter, attend employer-hosted virtual events, and search for employers and jobs.
- Alumni can request access to Handshake. Select “Student/Alumni” and follow the directions provided. Requests will be approved within 48 business hours.
- Meet with a Career Center professional to review your resume and cover letter. Schedule your appointment through Handshake. Virtual appointments are available.
- Practice your interview skills through a mock interview.
- Use Candid Career+ - brief videos to develop career readiness skills and research occupations.
- Network! Keep active connections with family, friends, Roberts staff and professors, church brothers/sisters, and professionals in the industry that interests you.
- Register through Handshake to attend the spring Career Connections Expo on campus.
- Continue your education: Roberts Graduate Programs or Northeastern Seminary.
