Music Therapy
B.S. in Music Therapy prepares students for board-certification by thoughtfully combining coursework in Music Foundations, Psychology, Human Development, and Music Therapy. Students in this program will also leave with a minor in Social Welfare, giving them an excellent foundation that will enable them to work in a variety of clinical settings. What Will I Learn?
Students will work on developing musicianship skills on their primary instrument, as well as develop foundational skills in piano, voice, guitar, and percussion. Their coursework in music therapy as well as psychology, human development, and social work will prepare them to use music as a therapeutic tool for a variety of client populations and clinical settings.
