Adolescence Education English

Main content

The English Adolescence Ed (AEDENG) major is designed specifically for students interested in teaching English at the junior high/high school level.

The English component of the major is almost identical to the straight English major, but students are also required to complete 40 semester hours in Education as specified by the Department of Teacher Education.

Students work closely with an advisor in the English department as well as an advocate in the Department of Teacher Education to ensure that all certification requirements are met.
