Accreditation

The Psy.D. and M.S. School Psychology programs are approved by The New York State Board of Regents and by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

Additionally the Psy.D. program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited on contingency as of October 28, 2018.*
We are also currently a Doctoral Program Associate (DPA) member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral & Internship Centers (AAPIC)

* "Accreditation, on contingency" is an accredited status and designates that a doctoral program is consistent, substantively and procedurally, with the Standards of Accreditation with the exception of the provision of outcome data.   Programs may seek this status prior to a cohort completing the program. If you complete a program that is recognized as "Accredited, on contingency, effective before your graduation date, you will have completed an accredited program.   Our current status is in effect until October 28, 2023. Questions related to the program's accredited status should be directed to the Commission on Accreditation:
