Adopt-A-School

"Adopt-A-School is very close to my heart because it is so much more than an afternoon science
lesson with a fourth-grade classroom. It’s really a relationship thing where you go in, and you really get to know these children as individuals. You look forward to seeing them as much as they look forward to seeing you, and at the end of the year, no one’s really ready to go home! For me, it’s really encouraging to get to be a part of uplifting these children and, in some small way, helping them believe in their own value and potential as individuals."

Adopt-A-School fosters a better understanding of the community's school system, strengthens and improves school programs and curricula, and creates a sense of personal involvement and interaction between organizations and schools.
