Emphasis

SPANISH EMPHASIS

Students who wish to study Spanish beyond the introductory level (SPN 101, 102, and 103) but are unable to complete the Spanish Major (33 credits), Concentration (27 credits), or Minor (21 credits) are encouraged to consider earning a Spanish Emphasis (15 credits above SPN 103).

Students will have two options:

1. Take five more courses above Spanish 103 (SPN 103) at RWC to complete the Emphasis in Spanish.

2. Take three more courses above SPN 103 at RWC and a summer study abroad in Antigua, Guatemala for four weeks (two courses for 6 credits)
