American Studies Program  

The American Studies Program (ASP) is offered through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.  Students in the ASP participate in a Professional Development Practicum as well as an 8-credit internship in one of two tracks: Public Policy, focusing on social justice, advocacy, and policy making; or Strategic Communication, for students with career interests in public relations, marketing, fundraising, and media relations. http://bestsemester.com/locations-and-programs/washingtondc/asp

Au Sable Institute for Environmental Studies

The Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies offers environmental science programs that are field-based, university-level courses in environmental studies and environmental science at campuses in the Great Lakes region (Mancelona, MI), Pacific Northwest (Whidbey Island, WA).  Au Sable’s upper-level college courses teach students about the natural world around them, immersing students in the local ecosystems.  Participants can take classes, learn hands-on skills and techniques, gain field experience, conduct research, develop tools for environmental stewardship, and experience science education from a Christian perspective.  http://ausable.org/

Contemporary Music Center

Contemporary Music Center (CMC) is offered through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.  This interdisciplinary off-campus study program in Nashville, Tennessee provides a community for young musicians and aspiring music executives to plumb the depths of their creative souls and test the waters of a career in popular music. Los Angeles Film Studies Program

The Los Angeles Film Studies Center (LAFSC) is offered through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities. The Los Angeles Film Studies Center is designed to train students to serve in various aspects of the film industry with both professional skill and Christian integrity.  A combination of seminars and an internship allows students to explore the film industry from a liberal arts perspective within a Christian context. http://www.bestsemester.com/locations-and-programs/los-angeles
