What is your major?
Biochemistry.
What are you doing after graduation?
I have been accepted to the NYU College of Dentistry and I will be attending there in the fall.
What are your future plans as a dentist?
After attending dental school at NYU, I would like to return to the Rochester area to work as a dentist.
How did a Roberts education prepare you for dental school?
An education at Roberts Wesleyan College prepared me to score well on my Dental Admissions Test (DAT) which was crucial for my acceptance into dental school.
Who is someone who inspires you?
Someone who inspires me is Desmond Doss. Some of you may know him from the movie Hacksaw Ridge. He had such strong convictions and he would not let others influence his beliefs. He was ridiculed and assaulted for his beliefs by everyone in his battalion, but when it came time to raid the Hacksaw ridge, his battalion needed him the most. He saved the lives of 75 men during his service, all of which had ridiculed him for his beliefs. He stayed true to what he believed in, while also becoming a war hero. Doss would not let anyone deter his beliefs no matter the circumstance, and this inspires me to do the same.
