Scott has worked as a pastor for over twenty years, including 18 years at his current post at Artisan Church in Rochester, a church he co-founded. He is dedicated to loving and serving all people, with a particular interest in caring for those who have been marginalized and treated as outsiders in religious communities. This passion led him to return to graduate school for a degree in mental health counseling, where he developed an interest in combining spirituality with existentialist and rational approaches to therapy. In his free time, Scott plays volleyball and is active as a singer/songwriter/guitarist in the Rochester local music scene. He also spends as much time as possible at home with his wife and children, and their pets.
