Biography:

Since becoming the Undergraduate Program Director for the Department of Teacher Education in 2014, Dr. Denise C. Johnson has been integral in leading and collaborating with colleagues to create a rigorous teacher preparation program in accordance with NYS and TED standards that has a special focus on student character and development. Among many responsibilities, Dr. Johnson strives to maintain relationships with local teachers and administrators to stay current with trends in the field. Prior to coming to Roberts, Dr. Johnson worked many years in local school districts in both administration and education.  In her spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her 3 sons and husband as well as running, skiing, and reading.
