Physics Professor Emeritus Continues Educational Pursuits at Kitt Peak

Phil Ogden, professor emeritus, (physics), is now a fully-certified National Optical Astronomy Observatory docent at the Kitt Peak National Observatory. This national observatory is located about an hour from his home. To become a docent has involved MANY hours of lectures, classes at University of AZ, and hands-on time at the Peak. Kitt Peak has 23 telescopes and is one of 4 national observatories (one in NM, one in Hawaii, and another being built in Hawaii). Phil is loving it!

Phil and Judy continue to enjoy volunteer ushering for the Tucson Symphony and involvement in their community.
