The graduate programs in Psychology at Roberts Wesleyan College are designed to prepare students  for effective professional practice in both clinical and school settings.  The programs aim to prepare students for exemplary service and leadership.

Graduate Programs

The Department of Psychology offers two master’s degrees: A Master of Science in School Counseling and a Master of Science in School Psychology. The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) has granted "Full Approval" to the graduate program in school psychology.

The Department also offers a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical/School Psychology.   The curriculum blends the professional areas of clinical and school psychology, meets educational requirements for licensure as a psychologist in New York State, and includes the provision for meeting the requirements for New York State Certification in School Psychology. The American Psychological Association has granted "Accredited on Contingency" status for the Psy.D. program.  Questions related to the Psy.D. program's accredited status should be directed to the Commission on Accreditation:
