Time: 12:00 PM - 12:50 PM | Location: Ellen Stowe Room in Garlock

The Roberts Wesleyan College Cultural Enrichment Committee presents....

Dr. Andrew Koehl

"Civility and Bi-Partisanship in Politics:  Is There Hope for America and For Your Crazy Friends and Relatives?

Monday, March 4, 2019
12:00 p.m.  Ellen Stowe Room in Garlock*

Dr.  Koehl is Professor of Philosophy and Director of Traditional Undergraduate General Education at Roberts Wesleyan College.  He received his M.A. and PhD in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame.  His research interests are epistemology,  philosophy of religion,  and ethics.  Dr. Koehl has a particular interest in Virtue Theory, which he believes is key to healing our political divides.

If you are disheartened about our current political climate, don't know how to talk to friends and family about politics, or just wondering where we can go from here, be sure to come out and join the discussion! Both theoretical insights and practical strategies for interacting with friends and family who disagree with you politically will be addressed.

*Those attending are encouraged to bring their lunch with them.
