EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC CLASSES
Director: Ashley Moss.
Early childhood music classes at Roberts Community Music School focus on the development of the whole child through playful musical exploration, singing, chanting, movement, listening, and using simple instruments. Each class is designed to meet the needs of the individual child, and modifications are built into the curriculum to ensure that every child has the best opportunity to grow.
Musiking with Munchkins: Ages 4 months to 24 months (with caregiver)
Saturdays, 9 AM
In this course, we will sing, chant, move, and play together, exposing your infant or young toddler to a wide variety of music and music concepts. This is a foundation-building class and is very play-based.
Tunes with Tots: Ages 2-4 (with caregiver)
Saturdays, 10 AM
Continue to develop your child’s musical skills through movement and structured music-making experiences. Watch and play along while your child shows off their new skills. This class continues to develop a foundation that will lead to success in classroom music or beginning instrument classes while providing children with more opportunities for independent music-making.
