Students smile together

We are proud of the nearly 21,000 living alumni working in marketing, healthcare, social work, business, criminal justice, law, ministry, non-profits, the technology industry, and entrepreneurship – to name a few. 

This month, we celebrate accomplishments in our alumni network.

Justin Niebel ‘06 (Business Administration) started a new position as Director, Sales Vertical Markets for Spectrum Business in Texas. Justin has been with Spectrum since December 2016. Justin is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Roberts Wesleyan University.

Brian Ellis M ‘22 (Special Education and Teaching) recently earned a Doctor of Education from Capella University and started a new role as an English Teacher for Finger Lakes Technical & Career Center, Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES.

Steve Raike ‘88 (Communication) has been a Partner at Lake/Flato Architects since December 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was recently one of 83 members elevated to the American Institute of Architecture’s College of Fellows Class of 2025. 

“I owe a great debt of gratitude to the faculty and my fellow students who contributed to my personal growth while at Roberts and the intervening years. In achieving this recognition, shared Steve. “ I felt it would be appropriate to share the news and a shout-out to several of these folks. Specifically, my wife Jill (Curtiss) Raike ('87), Dr. Elvera Berry, Dr. Lowell Ames, as well as my lifelong buddies from Carpenter Hall - Tim Cowie ('88), Brad Garratt ('89), and John Walsh ('90).”

Jeff Otto ‘09 (Organizational Management) is the VP of IT Operations at Tital Technology Systems in Rochester. Jeff spent 26 years at Roberts, most recently as the Senior Director of Network Operations and Infrastructure.

Dalton Letta ‘16 (BELL) auditioned for the Hallmark movie “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” that was filmed in Buffalo the week of May 21. We are proud of him for receiving a role as a background actor.

 

Dr. Ryan Beers headshot

Dr. Ryan Beers ‘09 (Biology) joined Wellsville and Hornell Allegany Eye Associates as an optometrist. Beers received his Doctor of Optometry from Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Read the story.
