Nurse Practitioner Christine Lyon '15 (Nursing) recently joined UR Medicine Thompson Health’s Advanced Surgical Services team. Her goal is to provide the community with excellent patient care.
A Farmington resident, Lyon has been employed by F.F. Thompson Hospital for 19 years, most recently as a registered nurse in its Utilization Management Department and previously as a nurse leader on its medical/surgical floor.
Lyon is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in wound care, inpatient rounding, pre- and post-operative care, and in-office procedures.
She received her master’s degree in nursing as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Practitioner from Keuka College in 2022. Her bachelor’s in nursing is from Roberts Wesleyan College and her associate’s in nursing is from the Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing.
Lyon is a true example of alumni serving the community!
