We were delighted to see so many alumni last weekend as we celebrated our first homecoming as Roberts Wesleyan University! We are proud of the 20,207 living alumni who are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, criminal justice, ministry, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few!

Nick Kahanic

Nick Kahanic (attended 2004-2007) was crowned New York State Champion in the Scottish Highland Games in Mayville, NY on the shores of Chatauqua Lake. The event took place at the end of August. Read the story.

Crystal (Bradley) Marello

Crystal (Bradley) Marello ’08 (Inclusive Childhood, B.S.) is the owner of Mamaste Café and Play at 1235 Hilton Parma Corners Road in Hilton, NY. The café offers coffee, tea, smoothies, snacks, baked goods, breakfast and lunch. There is a play area for children ages 0-5 and table activities for all ages. “My dream behind Mamaste is to create a supportive space for parents and young children especially, but also for all members of the community to enjoy good food, good drinks, and good chats together,” she said. Andre Forcier

Andre Forcier ‘20 (Health Administration, M.S.) has been promoted to Assistant VP, Physician Network, for Finger Lakes Health. In this role, we will play a key role in growing physician alignment between the physician network and health system. Forcier has over 20-years experience working in healthcare. Read the story.

 

Erika Curcio ’22 (Nursing) is a Registered Nurse at Rochester General Hospital.

Scott Ensign

Scott Ensign ’00 (Communication) has been promoted to chief strategy officer at Butler/Till.

 

 

Alexsis Wilson

Alexsis Wilson ’16 (Communication) is with US Enterprise Accounts at Apple in Houston Texas.

 

 

Collin Walker

Collin Walker ’21 (Business Administration) is an Associate Social Specialist at Butler Till. 

 

Joseph McNulty ’21(Marketing) is a Teacher Aide at Holy Childhood in Rochester. 

Emily Pelletier

Emily Pelletier’18 (Biology) is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a Family Medicine Resident at Prisma Health in South Carolina. After Roberts, she graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA.

 

Karen Drew Crittenden ‘99 (Social Work, M.S.) a Genesee County artist who creates in many different styles, will present a printing demonstration Sept. 13 for the Batavia Society of Artists. The gathering is scheduled for 7 p.m. at GO ART! Seymour Place, 201 East Main St., Batavia. Crittenden will demonstrate mono printing on gelli plates. Read more.

Colleen Truax ‘13 & 16 (Nursing & Nursing Administration) Maria Parham Health has announced that Colleen Truax, FNP, has joined its staff and will be offering gastrointestinal services to patients throughout Henderson, Vance County and the surrounding area. Read the story.

Armon Nasseri ‘21 (Criminal Justice) is an Account Executive at Integris. Integris is an IT services and consulting company. After graduating from Roberts, Nasseri completed his MBA at Le Moyne College.

Meaghan (Deane) Thaine

Meaghan (Deane) Thaine ‘10 (Mod, RN) joined the OB-GYN practice at UR Medicine Thompson Health’s Canandaigua Medical Group. Read more.
