Share this$10,000 Golden Apple Scholarships Awarded to Three Education Students
Presented by Roberts Wesleyan College, News 8 (WROC-TV) and Advantage Federal Credit Union
For the fourth year in a row, Roberts Wesleyan College, News 8 (WROC-TV) and Advantage Federal Credit Union partnered to offer three $10,000 Golden Apple scholarships to future teachers. The $10,000 scholarships were awarded to one undergraduate, one adult degree completion and one graduate student enrolling in the Roberts Wesleyan College education programs this fall.
The 2021 Golden Apple Scholarship winners that were announced on Tuesday, June 15th at the on-air End of Year Celebration for Golden Apple Teachers and Roberts Golden Apple Scholarship winners hosted by WROC.
Golden Apple Scholarship Winners:
- Traditional Undergraduate: Alyssa Turner, Adolescence Education English who is from Hornell, NY.
- Adult Degree Completion: Amy Mitchell, Pathway to Teaching who is from Rochester, NY.
- Graduate: Samantha Abbott, Adolescence Biology and Special Education who is from Brockport, NY
