Redhawks Fans Can Return to Sports

Following new guidance from New York State and the announcement made by Governor Andrew Cuomo, effective April 2, Roberts Wesleyan College will be welcoming back spectators at home sports events in a limited capacity.

At Roberts Wesleyan College, given our venue size, there will be two fans per participating player allowed. A select number of Roberts students will also be permitted into games. There can be up to 100 attendees indoors or 200 people outdoors.  There will be no visiting team spectators at this point.

It is recommended that spectators for outside sports bring their own seating (chairs, blankets, etc.) as the bleachers be used primarily for Roberts Wesleyan College students. For inside events, there will be designated seating for external guests and students.

To attend the games, fans are required to adhere to the following policies as set by Roberts Wesleyan:

  • Masks or facial coverings worn at all times
  • Maintaining physical distancing from other spectators outside your immediate group
  • No gatherings of any kind before or after each contest with student-athletes, team personnel or other Roberts staff members
  • No access to restrooms.

These guidelines for attending games only apply to home contests held on the Roberts Wesleyan College campus. For away games, the host institution determines the attendance policy (see the institution’s website for details).

We are excited to welcome our fans back to campus!
