Black History Month Screening & Discussion: "When They See Us" Documentary on Feb. 12 @ 6:30PM

This Black History Month, join the Office of Diversity and Equity for screenings and discussions of Ava DuVernay's and Netflix Original docuseries "When They See Us."

This is an educational and challenging documentary about the "Central Park Five" case. This historical case highlighted tensions and perspectives on race and the criminal justice system in America.

Join us to watch Part 4 of the docuseries on Wednesday, February 12 at 6:30 pm in Lake Auditorium. This showing will include a discussion following the screening as this series highlights the tensions within the dynamics of race and the criminal justice system. The featured panelists are Joseph Testani, Director of Justice & Security Institute and Sonnette Bascoe, Assistant Professor of Psychology. No tickets are required.
