Redhawks Who Soar - October 2018

Roberts Wesleyan College is proud of its 18,000+ living alumni. Roberts alumni are working in the fields of healthcare, social work, business, education, non-profits and entrepreneurship – to name a few! After graduation, the soul of Roberts stays with our alumni -- read these short updates to learn more about their lives after college.

Here are this month’s Redhawks Who Soar:

The March of Dimes Nurses of the Year winners included Roberts graduates who were recognized on Oct. 12 at the 8th annual event held at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester. They are:


Sarah Brooks’13 (R.N. to B.S.), Rochester General Hospital for Pediatric Emergency, Critical Care and Emergency Transport Services.

Kelly Burtner Thomas’07 (Nursing), Unity Hospital for General Medical/Surgical. 

Sandra Duell’08 (R.N. to B.S.), Hill Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation for Long Term Acute Care/Long Term Rehab. 

Ana Ramos’16 (M.S., Nursing Leadership & Administration), Rochester General Hospital for Nursing Administration. 

Amy Faro Keller’06 (Nursing), Golisano Children’s Hospital for General Pediatric. 

Tammy Rice’15 (R.N. to B.S.), Rochester Regional Health for Surgical Services.



Diane Nau’99’10 (R.N. to B.S. and M.S., Nursing Leadership & Administration), Unity Hospital

Maxine Fearrington’12 (M.S. Nursing Education), Strong Memorial Hospital
