What alumni do for our community matters. Tyler Dawson '10 (Communication, minor in Media Studies), a 36-year-old veteran of the Brockport Police Department (BPD), is living proof of the courage and commitment to serve others. Born and raised in Rochester, his passion for public service led him through various roles - an EMT, volunteer firefighter, and part-time officer with Holley Police Department - before joining the BPD in 2012. With over a decade of experience, he diligently serves the public.
