Meet Zachary Neal ‘25 (Management and Social Entrepreneurship). His family owns Orleans Poverty Hill Farms in Albion, N.Y. Zach, accompanied by his brother and father, recently won second place in an American Farm Bureau agricultural competition.

Another significant aspect that contributed to the experience was collaborating with my brother, Jayden, and my father, Jody. Together, we each bring diverse skills, perspectives, and talents to the team,” said Neal.

The Vortex, a device intended to wash cow udders in preparation for milking, was a family project. Designed by his older brother, the invention won second place.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my professors who have been supportive over the past few months and willing to answer any questions or give advice when necessary,” said Neal.
