Share thisAlumni Spotlight: Kenneth Lee Named Executive Director at the American Red Cross
Kenneth Lee'90 (Business Administration) was named the Executive Director of the Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross effective Oct. 31. This role serves Alleghany, Cayuga, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne and Yates Counties. Lee has over 17 years experience in not-for-profit community service.
Lee's leadership experience working with service-oriented organizations and providing guidance will be an asset for working on mission-driven work with volunteers and staff in not only the Greater Rochester Chapter but also the entire 27-county region.
“It is an honor and a great opportunity to work for an organization that has a long history of being present and helpful for humanity,” Lee said. “I love the idea of serving and helping others, and the Red Cross is a place where I look forward to working hard to engage and connect with our community members to ensure that we have the resources necessary to respond and serve others.”
Previously Lee was with the YMCA in various positions in Rochester and Newport News. He most recently had founded Ken Lee Practice where he provided career strategy and guidance for teens.
