We know one of the primary reasons most students choose to invest in a college education is to prepare for and achieve a career. At Roberts Wesleyan College, we prepare students for what will come next in their greater story.

Top 5 Reasons for One-On-One Student Appointments and Class Presentations

Other reasons include interviewing advice, conducting mock interviews, receiving career counseling, learning how to network, and receiving graduate school support.

Kaycee Viator’22 (History, Spanish) said, “ I went to the Career Development Office to get some guidance on how I should write my resume and how I should conduct myself during interviews… I feel much more confident in the fact that I can ace both!

“The employees are very friendly and are willing to meet you where you’re at and guide you in the right direction in order to get you where you want to be! It’s definitely worth the visit!”

Michael McCann’22 (Adolescence and Special Education, M.Ed.) shares, “I went to their office because I needed help with my resume. I received a job a week later! I absolutely recommend their office.”

Class of 2021 Outcomes

Our career planning focuses on employability. Here are the employment rates for the Class of 2021:

  1. Employed in field of study – 98%
  2. Employed full time – 87%
  3. Employed part-time – 5%
  4. Overall employment – 95%

We know how important it is for our students to achieve professional success after graduation. The Office of Career Development supports students by starting the career planning process early. At Roberts, students explore their interests, learn more about their capabilities, and transform themselves through their academic and career preparation work to get the most out of their college education.
