Dr. E. John Reinhold’63 passed away on October 1, 2021. Reinhold served as a Trustee for Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary from 2011-2020.
Reinhold graduated from Roberts in 1963. He completed studies at Maxwell School, Syracuse University Extension at Chautauqua Institute and the University of Rochester. Reinhold earned three graduate degrees from the American Institute.
He was a highly successful business owner as founder of the Christian Care Ministry and the Medi-Share Program, one of the world’s largest not for profit medical co-op. Reinhold founded and directed the Great Commission Foundation of Campus Crusade for Christ, International and served as Chairman of the Board of The American Evangelistic Association.
Reinhold was known for his philanthropic generosity; giving to ministries and churches and Christian organizations his whole life, including several major capital campaigns for Roberts Wesleyan College.
A funeral service will be held at the Shrine of Remembrance Chapel at 10 a.m. (MT)/12 p.m. (EST) on Monday October 11 at 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO. A reception will take place following the service.
