Redhawk Scholar Athletes of the Month | April 2021

Lindsey Brinkel (Accounting and Information Management), Women's Lacrosse

Lindsey Brinkel from the women’s lacrosse team. Brinkel has been a Redhawks starter at midfield since 2019 and leads Roberts in points this season with 71 on 26 goals and 45 assists. The senior had 12 assists in the win over Tiffin and had two goals and two assists in the victory over nationally ranked Grand Valley State, she’s one of the reasons the Redhawks are unbeaten at 11-0. In the classroom, Lindsey who's from Rochester, NY is an Accounting and Information Management major with a 3.54 grade point average at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Tyler Lipina (Biochemistry), Track and Field

Lipina finished sixth in the 1500 at The Redhawk Invitational and second in the 1500 at the Cardinal Classic. Previously he's earned All-ECC outdoor track honors in the 800 and Elite-19 Award for academic excellence. He is from Schenectady, New York and is a Biochemistry major with a 3.93 grade Grade Point Average at Roberts Wesleyan College.
