Message to Parents from the Roberts Restart Team

We are excited to have students back to campus for the Spring semester! We had a successful move in and kick-off to what we anticipate to be another great semester. As we begin, here are a few updates from the Roberts Restart team.

Campus Guidelines and Testing: The public health strategies put in place for the fall semester will remain for the spring. Masks, disinfecting, physical distancing, and smaller gatherings are still a part of our life on campus this spring. We have also increased our testing capacity. Roberts required all employees and students who work, learn, or live on campus in the Spring semester to provide evidence of a negative Covid-19 test or an isolation clearance order before returning to campus for the semester. We have also begun random surveillance testing on campus. At this time, we maintain a positivity rate of less than 1% through our campus testing. We are thankful for the support of every member of our community in ensuring we stay safe and healthy this spring.

Vaccines: As vaccination initiatives continue to roll out in our area, we are in communication with our local public health officials regarding the availability of vaccines and eligibility of members of our community, including our students. We hope ot offer a vaccine clinic on our campus sometime this spring. At this time, we are not requiring vaccinations of any members of our community, though we encourage those who are eligible to consider getting vaccinated.
