Redhawks Give Back to Golisano Children's Hospital
As Thanksgiving approaches, we are thankful for the opportunity to give back to those in need in our community. At Roberts, making a difference through serving the community is a part of the educational experience. Through a year-long effort, the Roberts Wesleyan College athletic department raised more than 10,000 dollars for Golisano Children's Hospital. Student-athletes also visited the hospital (before the pandemic hit) and played with some of the children who received care at the University of Rochester-Golisano Children's Hospital.
This service work is a tradition for student-athletes, not only does this benefit those in need, but also helps our students grow through a commitment to serving others and giving back to the community.
