WXXI Interviews Testani, Alexander & Chief Catholdi about Community Perceptions of Police Study

WXXI reporter, Noelle Evans, recently spoke with Joe Testani, director of Roberts Wesleyan’s Justice and Security Institute, Herb Alexander, director of diversity and equity, and Brighton Police Chief David Catholdi regarding their research to measure how young Black people in Monroe County feel about police. This study aims to identify what police departments need to do to attract a more diverse recruitment pool and improve relationships with underserved communities.
