Morgan Ramos Chosen as RRLC 2020 Library All Star

The Rochester Regional Library Council recently announced that Morgan Ramos was chosen as a RRLC 2020 Library All Star!

Morgan was nominated by the Director of Library Services, Matthew Ballard. Matthew had this to say about Morgan in her nomination: "Morgan has worked with the B. Thomas Golisano Library at Roberts Wesleyan College now for over two years as a member of our staff (and previously as a student employee). Over the last year, Morgan has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty, accepting a higher level of responsibility, and taking on new projects. Aside from assuming a leadership role in managing the library's interlibrary loan services, Morgan co-led our library through the implementation of Leganto (Ex Libris' electronic reading list solution) which included ongoing workshops/training opportunities for faculty and staff on campus. Morgan's strengths in positivity and communication have guided our team through difficult times and challenging situations. Her creativity and strategic thinking have provided opportunities to approach those challenges from new directions. She has developed a deep connection with student employees who she oversees, mentoring them, and demonstrating grace and a high level of care and attention to their needs not only as direct reports, but as students. Morgan's regular interface with the campus community is demonstrated by a high level of professionalism and a desire to advocate for the work undertaken by our library team. It would take pages of text to highlight all of Morgan's accomplishments that make her a Library All-Star!

Congratulations to Morgan! Thank you for your outstanding work and continued dedication to the Roberts Wesleyan community!"
