Redhawks Soccer: Team bond, Talented and Tested

The Roberts Wesleyan men’s soccer has returned to the post season with a tight team bond and a talented and tested roster making for an even brighter future. In 2019, the Redhawks returned to the playoffs posting a 9-8-1 overall record and 5-3 in the challenging East Coast Conference.

Five Roberts players earned All-ECC honors. Dylan Ruiz, named offensive player of the year, was among the NCAA Division II leaders nationally, with 17 goals. Jared Gibbons was ECC rookie of the year. The Redhawks also competed in the National Christian College tournament, advancing to championship round in Florida.

Cross Country Program Swept Nearly All of the Major Conference Awards

The fellowship, devotion and training has led to great things for the Roberts Wesleyan Cross Country teams. It was another exceptional fall for Roberts runners, the men finished first at the NCAA Division II East Regionals, the women finished second and both teams qualified for the NCAA Nationals. For six consecutive years, the Redhawks have run to the championship of the East Coast Conference for both the women and men.

The program swept nearly all of the major conference awards.
