Bell and Guglielmo Share About Soft Skills in Your Career

Darrell Bell'19 (MSL) and Ryann Guglielmo'20 (MSMK) were featured in the Rochester Business Journal (RBJ) on “soft skills” and why they’re important to develop for your career. Bell is the vice president for institutional advancement at Roberts Wesleyan College and Guglielmo is a public relations advisor at Dixon Schwabl. They both received the RBJ Forty Under 40 award in 2018.

Soft skills include building trust, connecting with people and listening to another point of view - to name a few. "I've always had a passion for getting to know people," said Bell. Guglielmo said, "I've always been a people person and I think soft skills are just something you just have, but I do think it's something that you can be thoughtful of, or improve upon."
