Concordia Participates in ROCTAC Discussion on WHAM 1180
Mark Concordia, director of the Homeland Security and Applied Intelligence program, was recently on the Bob Lonsberry WHAM 1180 show. Concordia joined Sheriff Todd Baxter and Rochester Chief of Police La'Ron Singletary. They discussed ROCTAC (Rochester Threat Advisory Council), a collaborative team which will maximize the resources of Roberts Wesleyan College, the Monroe County Sheriff's office, the FBI and other law enforcement entities. Concordia shared that this collaborative approach was part of his vision for the College's Justice & Security Institute. Concordia maintains that there are ways to prevent violence though education of the community to help prevent an act of targeted violence. Sheriff Baxter is a graduate of the Organizational Management and Master's of Strategic Leadership programs at Roberts Wesleyan College.
