Blending Degree Programs: Traditional Undergraduate Business Pathway to a Non-Traditional Bachelor of Health Administration Degree

Health Administration is excited to announce a new degree path for traditional undergraduate students.  Roberts has historically had two distinct degree paths at the undergraduate and graduate level: Traditional and Non-Traditional.  In most cases, traditional students begin their post-secondary academic journey at RWC, while non-traditional students are typically professional adult-learners who come to RWC in order to take advantage of the college’s unique Bachelor’s Completion programs. The Bachelor’s Completion programs are structured as a cohort based model that meets weekly for 15 months. In addition, the program offerings under each degree path are separate and distinct, and have not allowed for students to cross from one path to another.  In response to traditional undergraduate student demand for a health administration degree, RWC created a unique 4-year degree path allowing traditional undergraduate business students the option of earning a Bachelor of Health Administration (BHA) degree.  Traditional undergraduate students begin their education at RWC in undergraduate business, and track in to a non-traditional BHA cohort based program.  The unique pathway leverages current resources, including staff, faculty and courses, while requiring minimal effort to execute.    We plan to begin offering the program in the Fall of 2017!
