RWC Music Student/Alum Place at NATS

RWC grad Emma McDermitt-Wise ’15 (right) and sophomore Léa Hossack Bouillon (left) participated in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition held at Ithaca College on Saturday, October 29th, 2016.  Emma placed 3rd in her division, and Léa moved on to the semi-finals in her division.  Emma is currently a graduate vocal performance major at Ithaca, where she was awarded the graduate vocal assistantship.  She will sing the lead role of Vitellia in their upcoming production of Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito in February, 2017, and will perform her graduate recital in April.  In August, Léa performed in scenes programs as Juliette in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette and Despina in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte at the 2016 Crescendo Summer Music Festival in Tokaj, Hungary.
