Professors Elaine Gregory and Chris Pessagno Take Students to the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance

Elaine Gregory and Chris Pessagno took ten physical education majors to the annual conference of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance on November 19-20. They gave a presentation on Thursday morning entitled “No Child Left on Their Behind” which was well attended. Undergraduates Shane Cole and Marissa Sell each received Departmental Major of The Year awards at a ceremony on Thursday night and Marissa also received the Jay B. Nash Award at a dinner on Friday night. This award is given to two physical education undergraduates each year in the state of New York and is Roberts’ third Jay B. Nash Award winner in three years.
