ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Roberts Wesleyan College held an event to bring awareness to Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence.
The free event was sponsored by the school of social work and dance ministry. The event featured interpretive dance and domestic violence education.
"I think when it comes to a student body or a college campus, I don't think its really talked about that much, said Pam Meyers from the Student Social Work Association. "It's good to bring it out in the open because it does happen on college campuses too."
Donations went to Safe Journey Support Center here in Rochester.
