Regulations

A course can be taken through cross registration only if the course is not available at Roberts Wesleyan College and is applicable toward the student's undergraduate degree program.

The student must be a full-time (minimum 12 credits) undergraduate student at Roberts for the semester in which cross registration is desired.  Cross registration is not available during the summer terms.

There will be no extra charge to a student's account for a cross registered course provided that the student does not exceed 18 total credit hours.  See Student Accounts for the rate of each credit hour over 18.  It is the student's responsibility to pay any course/lab fees associated with the cross registered course.  This will be billed by the visiting school.

A Request to Exceed 18 Credit Hours form must be filed with the Registration Office of Roberts if a cross registered enrollment puts the student over 18 credit hours.  This form should be submitted to the Registration Office upon submission of the Cross Registration form for the Registrar's signature.

Students are governed by the academic policies of the institution visited with regard to course requirements, withdrawal policies, etc.

To drop a cross registered course the procedures outlined by the visiting school should be followed and the student should notify the Registration Office at Roberts.

Credits and grades taken through cross registration will be recorded on the student's Roberts transcript and will be factored into the student's GPA.  A student will be granted equivalent semster credit hours if the visiting institution runs on a quarter hour system.

Please Note that participating colleges have different ending dates for their semester or quarter.  Grades, therefore, may not be available prior to a student's commencement date and may delay graduation.  Prior to enrolling, graduating students are advised to review this issue with the Registration Office.
