Biography

MARTHA SHOLL is a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and was a member of the former Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. She has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphoria, and the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, among others. Ms. Sholl has performed in several summer festivals, including Music in the Mountains (Durango, CO), the Skaneateles Festival, Lake Placid Sinfonietta, and the Chautauqua Symphony.

She is an active chamber musician, performing in the RPO Woodwind Quintet, the Geneseo Wind Quintet, and the Society for Chamber Music in Rochester.

In addition to being a member of the faculty at Roberts Wesleyan College, Ms. Sholl is a faculty member at SUNY Geneseo. She has given master classes at SUNY Fredonia and at Ithaca College, where she has also been a guest faculty member. Ms. Sholl is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with K. David Van Hoesen.
