Background

Kathleen Raniewicz serves as Career Development Specialist for the Undergraduate Business Program and  Office of Career Development.  She joined the staff in Fall 2011 after working in the career development and workforce readiness field for more than 20 years.  Her previous professional work includes the Rochester Business Alliance as Senior Director, Educational Services; and Monroe #1 BOCES as Coordinator, Career Education Services.

Kathleen brings a wealth of experience in community outreach; employer and education partnership development; internship program oversight; and volunteer management.  Working with students through the Business Program's Internship Prep course and one-on-one on internship search and placements, Kathleen is keenly focused on preparing our graduates for future employment.

Kathleen resides in North Chili with her husband Andrew, twin daughters Alexis and Alyssa, and their dog Sadie.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her girls’ athletic activities, and singing with For Singing’s Sake, an all-female community choral group.
