About Professor Scheske

As an alumnus of Roberts Wesleyan College, Karen has an affinity for the liberal arts education offered at Roberts.  She strives to present students with an education that addresses the whole person; academically, spiritually, etc.  Karen also emphasizes the importance of students “buying in” to their education, because if they are determined to learn then nothing can stop them.

Given this, Karen strives to make the classroom a place of learning that is also fun.  Often mixed with the mathematical content and the nerdy mathematical humor is a dose of life experience that just might help students to make more of their learning. The goal is to know that Math is everywhere and to embrace it!
