Julia Arau

Dr. Julia Arau, OTD, OTR/L, serves as the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator of the Occupational Therapy Doctorate program. Dr. Arau has focused her clinical practice in pediatrics. She has experience in a variety of settings including, early intervention, outpatient, and schools. She enjoys offering treatment sessions addressing feeding, sensory, and motor concerns.

Dr. Arau’s primary teaching load includes foundations of occupational therapy, foundational science courses, healthcare delivery, and pediatric coursework. She enjoys supporting students as they develop into skilled practitioners, discover their unique areas of passion within occupational therapy, and build the confidence to think creatively and create interventions for the client’s they serve.

Dr. Arau is married with two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and hiking.
