Facilities HVAC Mechanic
Position Description/Responsibilities: The Facilities Department is accepting applications for a full-time HVAC Mechanic to assist in caring for the physical needs and goals of the campus as it relates to building and equipment use and up-keep. Primary responsibilities include performing HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance; troubleshooting, operating building management systems, inspecting machinery in operation to assure proper functioning, including checking pressures and temperatures; recording accurate data of HVAC preventive maintenance; and responding to calls 24 hours a day when on call.
Qualifications: High school graduation and ten years of experience as a service or HVAC maintenance mechanic. Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning machinery, BMS and components. The successful candidate must also have good customer service skills, work well in a team environment and within deadlines, be able to multi-task, and have good organizational and communication skills.
