Facilities HVAC and Plumbing Mechanic
Position Description/Responsibilities: The Facilities Department is accepting applications for a full-time HVAC & Plumbing Maintenance Mechanic to assist in caring for the physical needs and goals of the campus as it relates to building and equipment use and up-keep. Primary responsibilities include performing HVAC preventive maintenance and plumbing service calls; inspecting machinery in operation to assure proper functioning, including checking pressures and temperatures; recording accurate data of HVAC preventive maintenance; and responding to calls 24 hours a day when on call.
Qualifications: High school graduation and two years of experience as a service or HVAC & Plumbing maintenance mechanic. Knowledge of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and plumbing maintenance. A successful candidate must also have good customer service skills, work well in a team environment and within deadlines, be able to multi-task, and have good organizational and communication skills.
