Executive Director of Student Financial Services
Position Description/Responsibilities: The Enrollment Management and Student Financial Services Offices seek qualified candidates for the role of Executive Director of Student Financial Services. The person in this position will provide leadership, accountability, and daily management of the Financial Aid office; create and maintain an attitude of quality customer service to students, families, and partners; assure regulatory compliance; and protect the integrity of the financial aid services of the College. Key responsibilities also include overseeing full-service financial aid processing; developing and implementing policies and procedures which ensure the successes of all functions of the financial aid awarding process; developing an effective communication plan for students and families through each step of the process; effectively leading and managing staff; and coordinating work and student communications with Admissions, Student Services and other campus partners.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field and five years comparable work experience, including previous accounting and customer service experience required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well and strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously also required. Previous financial aid system experience strongly desired.
