Doctoral Capstone Coordinator
Roberts Wesleyan University invites candidates to apply for a full-time (10-month), tenure-track Occupational Therapy faculty position beginning July 1, 2026. The Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) Program is housed in the School of Natural and Social Sciences on our park-like campus in Rochester, New York, providing the program with the advantages of a suburban setting within a vibrant metropolitan area.

Qualifications:
- Holds an academic doctoral degree, is currently licensed or license-eligible in New York State, and is certified by NBCOT.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, the university community, and clinical agencies.
- Documented evidence of clinical and research experience.
- Documented expertise in areas of teaching responsibilities using effective instructional design and knowledge of content delivery methods.
Candidates must also demonstrate a strong commitment to the integration of Christian faith and professional practice and a willingness to support the University’s Christian mission and identity. A successful candidate will demonstrate cultural humility and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of all faculty at Roberts Wesleyan University is teaching. Teaching responsibilities would include graduate-level courses in research, pathophysiology, intervention and assessment, and capstone-related courses, as well as others to be determined based on areas of expertise. Additional responsibilities include academic advisement, supervision of research, and mentoring of capstone projects. Regional site visits with national and regional travel for conferences, meetings, and training as needed for program and scholarly development.
While the primary focus for faculty is teaching, effective faculty performance will also include service, profession-related activity, and scholarship.
The approved salary range for this position is $73,000 - $75,000. Salary and rank are commensurate with education and experience.
