Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics
Roberts Wesleyan University invites candidates to apply for an adjunct faculty position to teach Elementary Statistics. We seek a dedicated and qualified educator to provide high-quality instruction to undergraduate students beginning with the Fall 2026 semester. For Fall 2026, the course is scheduled for in-person at 9 am on MWF. For the Spring 2027 semester, the schedule is more flexible, but is expected to be taught in-person.
The programs in the Department of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics are housed in the School of Natural & Social Sciences on our park-like campus in Rochester, New York, providing the program with the advantages of a suburban setting within a vibrant metropolitan area.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Experience teaching at the high school or college level.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching in a college or university setting.
Familiarity with current instructional technologies and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle).
Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and supporting a diverse student population.
Candidates must also demonstrate a strong commitment to the integration of Christian faith and professional practice and a willingness to support the University’s Christian mission and identity. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate multicultural competence and show commitment to the principles of diversity & equity.
Salary Range: $746/credit hour
