Safety at Houses of Worship

Safety at Houses of Worship

This free seminar is presented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in collaboration with the Roberts Wesleyan College Justice & Security Institute.

During this program, special agents from the FBI office in Rochester, along with Associate Professor Mark Concordia from the Roberts Wesleyan College Justice & Security Institute, will discuss topics such as identifying at-risk individuals on the pathway to violence, threat-assessment for your facility, and the nexus to protecting civil rights.  Representatives from local law enforcement agencies will also be present.

Leaders from houses of worship of all faiths from throughout Western New York are invited to this free program.  Space is limited.  If you would like us to extend an invitation to the leader of another house of worship that has not received an invitation, please contact FBI Community Outreach Specialist Sharon Mentkowski at smentkowski@fbi.gov with the appropriate information.
